New to Medicare?

At Masters of Medicare, we help you sort out the parts and plans to Medicare in order to help you sort out the details and choose a plan that is right for you.

You will enroll in The Parts of Medicare, (Part A and Part B), at the Social Security office.

After enrolling, you work with an agent to pick a Medicare Supplement Plan,

Part D (a prescription drug plan) and Medicare Advantage Plan.

  1. Confirm your Medicare eligibility.
  2. Read over Medicare plans and costs to prepare.
  3. Apply for Medicare Part A and Part B at your local Social Security office or online at https://www.ssa.gov/benefits/medicare/.
  4. Receive and verify your red, white and blue Medicare ID card.
  5. Does your card reflect that you enrolled in both Part A and Part B? You will need Part B if Medicare will be your primary coverage.
  6. Understand coverage options: Medicare Advantage or  Medicare supplemental insurance coverage.
  7. Read about Part D and determine which drug plan best suits you.
  8. Work with an insurance agency, such as Master of Medicare to support you.
  9. Review you have the best coverage for your individual needs and circumstances.
